Vacant to Vibrant welcomes two new pop-ups in Downtown San Francisco: Al Pastor Papi and Craftivity!
Al Pastor Papi is now open at 232 O’Farrell Street in Union Square. The popular taqueria, founded by local chef Miguel Escobedo, specializes in Mexico City-style al pastor and brings bold, authentic flavors to one of the city’s most high-traffic corridors.
“Union Square is ready for a taste of Mexico City’s street food, and I’m honored to bring Al Pastor Papi to downtown. This is about sharing our culture, feeding both locals and visitors, and proving that community, culture, and our signature tacos can help spark San Francisco’s transformation,” said Miguel Escobedo, Chef and Founder of Al Pastor Papi.

Just a few blocks away in SoMa, Craftivity – an interactive art studio offering hands-on maker experiences and team-building workshops – will officially open its doors this Friday, June 13, at 215 Fremont Street.
Craftivity is a hands-on arts and crafts studio specializing in unique team-building experiences and creative group events across the Bay Area. Craftivity offers joyful, customized workshops for groups of all sizes to help people reconnect through the power of creativity.
